Reconstruct Bag no. 10
This bag stands apart from the rest of the series. It is a one-of-a-kind piece defined by weight, density, and physical presence. The main body is constructed from exceptionally thick recycled leather sourced from old sports equipment. Originally designed to absorb impact and endure constant stress, this leather brings an unusual firmness and resilience to the bag.
The compact, horizontal form emphasizes solidity over softness. Unlike the more textile-driven pieces in the collection, this bag holds its shape with confidence, creating a clear, almost sculptural silhouette. Signs of previous use — pressure marks, surface abrasions, and tonal variations — remain visible and contribute to the bag’s character.
The bag can be carried in two distinct ways. A shoulder strap made from heavy metal chains introduces an industrial, almost confrontational element, shifting the bag’s weight perception and visual language. In addition, reinforced leather handles allow the bag to be carried by hand, offering a more controlled and grounded mode of use.
Metal hardware, thick seams, and reinforced attachment points underline the bag’s structural focus. Every component is selected for strength rather than refinement, resulting in an object that feels closer to equipment than to an accessory.
This bag is not lightweight.
It is not discreet.
It is built to be felt.
