Reconstruct Bag no. 11

This bag is a one-of-a-kind piece crafted from the same exceptionally thick recycled leather as Bag 10. The material originates from old sports equipment and was originally designed to endure constant impact and mechanical stress. Its density, weight, and surface texture give the bag a strong physical presence and a distinctly robust character.

Compared to the previous piece, this design is more compact and volumetric. The proportions create a grounded, almost architectural form, offering generous interior space while maintaining a controlled silhouette. The leather holds its shape firmly, emphasizing the bag’s structural integrity rather than softness.

A defining functional detail is integrated directly into the shoulder strap: a small zippered pouch designed specifically for valuables. Positioned close to the body, it allows quick and secure access without opening the main compartment. On the opposite side of the shoulder strap, the Das Werkhaus logo is visibly placed, marking the bag clearly as part of the collection without dominating its material-driven design.

Metal hardware, reinforced stitching, and visible signs of previous use remain intentionally present. Scratches, pressure marks, and tonal variations are preserved as evidence of the material’s past life and strength.

This bag is functional, heavy, and deliberate.
It is built like equipment — and meant to be used as such.
