Reconstruct Bag no. 8

This bag is a one-of-a-kind piece defined by reduction, material contrast, and a deliberately simple closure system. The front panel is made from black recycled leather, characterized by a dense surface texture and visible natural grain. The leather acts as a protective and structural element, giving the bag a strong, grounded presence.

Unlike the other bags in the series, this design does not use a zipper. Instead, the main compartment is closed by a soft flap secured with two buttons. This closure system slows down access intentionally, reinforcing a more conscious, tactile interaction with the bag and its contents.

The body is constructed from reclaimed textile materials, showing subtle signs of wear and previous use. The soft structure allows the bag to adapt naturally to its contents, while the leather front provides stability and contrast. Visible stitching and raw edges emphasize the handcrafted process and the honesty of the materials.

The adjustable shoulder strap is made from repurposed fabrics and attached with metal rings, maintaining a functional, workwear-inspired character. Each detail serves a purpose, with nothing added for decoration alone.
