Grainline Vest no. 2 of 10 - Historic Post Vest with Leather Stripe

The Grainline Vest No. 02 of 10 is part of a limited 10-piece series, handcrafted in Cologne from original post sacks produced before the fall of the Berlin Wall. The historic textile forms the front construction, preserving its raw structure and subtle irregularities.

A vertical center panel made from washable leather defines the silhouette. The leather stripe is detailed with individually selected buttons and positioned alongside a concealed zipper closure, creating a balanced composition between function and material contrast.

The back panel is cut in a solid tonal fabric and features adjustable ties, allowing the vest to adapt naturally to the wearer. The interplay between structured post sack textile and smooth leather creates a clear architectural line while maintaining lightness for layering.

Each vest in the series is individually constructed. Variations in texture, weave and surface are intentional and reflect the origin of the materials.

Fit

Structured straight cut with slightly narrower proportions than No. 01. Adjustable back ties allow a flexible and close fit. Suitable for layering or wearing on its own.

Fits best approximately EU 46–48, depending on styling and adjustment of the back ties.
