Maker’s Vest no. 5

This one-of-a-kind vest is handcrafted from a curated selection of vintage and repurposed textiles, primarily sourced from original military fabrics and aged workwear materials. Each vest is individually assembled by hand, allowing the unique character of every fabric to remain visible. Differences in texture, weight, color tone and surface are not concealed but intentionally preserved, making each piece truly singular.

The construction varies subtly from vest to vest, featuring asymmetrical paneling, mixed materials and distinctive button arrangements. Some designs incorporate contrasting sections or historical decorative textiles, while others remain more reduced and utilitarian in appearance. Visible seams, layered edges and traces of previous use emphasize the handmade process and underline the authenticity of the garment.

Designed with a functional yet expressive silhouette, the vest can be worn on its own or layered, adapting naturally to the wearer over time. The absence of standardized repetition ensures that no two pieces are alike — each vest tells its own story through material, structure and wear.

Slim, straight cut with a shorter body length. Designed to sit close to the body with a precise, structured silhouette.

This vest fits best sizes XS–S (approx. EU 44–46), depending on how it is worn.
