The Grainline Vest No. 03 of 10 continues the limited series of ten handcrafted pieces, combining historic post sack textile with a vertical washable leather insert. The original fabric — produced before the fall of the Berlin Wall — forms the structural base of the vest and retains its natural texture and density.

The central leather stripe introduces a subtle tonal contrast and is detailed with individually selected buttons. A concealed zipper closure runs parallel to the leather panel, creating a clean, functional front while maintaining the architectural vertical line.

The back is constructed in a solid, dark fabric and finished with adjustable ties, allowing the silhouette to shift between a relaxed or more defined fit. The vest remains lightweight and structured, designed for layering while maintaining presence as a standalone piece.

Each vest in the Grainline series is individually assembled in Cologne. Variations in weave, tone and surface are intentional and underline the authenticity of the reclaimed materials.

Fit

Structured straight cut with balanced proportions. Adjustable back ties allow subtle shaping at the waist. Designed for a close but comfortable fit.
