Grainline Vest no. 5 of 10 - Historic Post Vest with Leather Stripe

The Grainline Vest No. 05 of 10 is part of the limited 10-piece Grainline series, handcrafted in Cologne from original post sack fabric produced before the fall of the Berlin Wall. The reclaimed textile defines the front construction and preserves its natural texture, subtle irregularities and utilitarian character.

A vertical washable leather insert structures the center of the vest, creating a strong architectural line. The leather panel is finished with individually selected buttons and paired with a concealed zipper closure, combining functional workwear references with a clean, contemporary silhouette.

The back is constructed in a solid dark fabric and finished with adjustable ties, allowing the vest to adapt to the wearer. Lightweight yet structured, the piece is designed for layering while maintaining a clear and defined shape.

Each vest in this series is individually assembled. Differences in weave, surface and tone reflect the origin of the historic materials and make every piece unique.

Fit

Structured straight cut with balanced proportions and adjustable back ties for flexible shaping. Designed for a close but comfortable fit.
