The Vessel Bag Collection is a limited series of ten individually handcrafted shoulder bags. All ten pieces share the same construction and overall design language, while each bag differs through its combination of 1970s denim, leather and cotton.
A central design element of the collection is the horizontally banded body. Each bag is assembled from parallel courses of salvaged material that run across the front and continue around the sides, so the seam lines rather than any print carry the pattern. The body widens from a narrow opening towards a broad base, giving the bag its rounded, vessel-like volume.
This particular piece is the quietest of the series. Sand-coloured suede forms the upper flap and the zip pocket, sage-green canvas fills the lower body, and narrow strips of dark indigo denim run down both sides. The logo is embossed into the suede in a matching tone, so it only appears when the light moves across it. A white zip and one dark button provide the only firm lines. The back is natural cotton with denim edges.
The bag sits flat against the body and can be worn long across the chest or shortened to sit at the hip. The strap adjusts through a metal ring, and the wide base gives the bag its volume without adding bulk.
